Travel behaviour of the German population
The task of infas in this study is to collect statistical data on the travel behaviour of the population resident in Germany. Every year about 10,000 people based in Germany are interviewed about their travel behaviour by telephone. Both landline numbers and mobile numbers are used.
Methodology
Nationwide telephone (CATI) quarterly survey of persons aged 15 or older living in Germany (totalling 10,000 per year). The target person is selected on the landline phone by means of last birthday key whereas the target person on mobile phones is the mobile phone’s main user. The telephone numbers were drawn randomly.
